Responsivity in Community Supervision

June 18, 2024

On June 18, 2024, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. ET, the CSRC held a webinar on responsivity in community supervision.

How can we respond to people on community supervision to effect positive behavioral change?

The Risk-Need-Responsivity (RNR) model addresses how we reduce recidivism while attending to the welfare of people on supervision. Validated tools can identify risks and needs, but determining how best to respond to client behaviors and ensure that they receive the appropriate services is often trickier, as it depends on individual circumstances.
