Exciting New Opportunity to Expand Housing Access for People in Reentry – the Zero Returns to Homelessness Cohort

The Council of State Governments Justice Center (CSG), the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) invite states and communities to work with them to achieve the Zero Returns to Homelessness vision of making housing available and accessible to every person returning home from incarceration.

CSG, in partnership with the Corporation for Supportive Housing, is pleased to announce the opening of the application process for the Zero Returns to Homelessness Cohort. The Zero Returns to Homelessness Cohort will provide a select group of state teams with extensive technical assistance support focused on solidifying long-term reentry housing plans, leveraging community leaders and resources, collaboration across state and local systems, and achieving a real, concrete expansion in the amount of housing available to people in reentry.
