Practice Guidelines for Community Supervision: Appropriateness Statement Package

Common supervision practices that may be appropriate depending on how and with whom they are used. Information on each practice includes a summary of the practice and the research evidence for/against it, how the practice is used, what supervision staff and people formerly involved in the criminal justice system think about the practice, anticipated outcomes of using the practice, and special considerations when working with five common subpopulations.
