Risk and Rehabilitation: Supporting the Work of Probation Officers in the Community Reentry of Extremist Offenders

Mixed-methods study examining the reintegration of individuals with ties to extremism following arrest or incarceration, analyzing their characteristics and likelihood of recidivism and disengagement from extremism. Explores reintegration challenges, the role of case management, monitoring, and support services, and the training and education needs of pretrial services and probation officers to enhance their support for successful reintegration.
