When the Offender Is the Victim: Community Corrections Strategies for Supervising Those Victimized by Domestic Violence

Training on the dynamics of intimate partner violence (IPV), victim pathways into the criminal justice system, and strategies for supervising those who are abused. The goals of this training are to improve the capacity of community supervision personnel to identify people on supervision who have been victimized by IPV and to ensure that officers use trauma-informed approaches to supervision that will protect people's safety while also holding them accountable for their crime.
