Adaptation of matrices developed by the Iowa Department of Corrections that outline core competencies and traits for all staff directly involved in the supervision of people in prisons or in the community, related training, and reference materials. Can be used as guides for hiring, performance evaluation and coaching, and career advancement, and can be incorporated into job descriptions. Includes a sample job description, performance evaluation, and promotion checklist.
