APPA’s National Standards for Community Supervision

Outlines the professional standards or minimum acceptable benchmarks for integrating evidence-based practices into community supervision. Includes guiding principles and standards for community supervision agencies, sentencing, assessment, transition to community/pre-release, supervision practices, caseload size, engagement and building relationships, case planning, effective interventions, influencing behavior, and performance measurement.
