Specialized techniques to monitor people who have battered and to intervene in domestic violence cases more effectively. Includes information on the characteristics of men who have battered and women who have been battered; suggestions on how to manage people charged with battery, respond to common excuses, and work with those least likely to be held accountable; and a questionnaire for survivors of domestic violence to help determine what safety measures should be put in place.
