Study exploring the relationship between correctional staff's characteristics (sex, race, and age) and job classification and their support for rehabilitative programming. Also examines how previous criminal justice work impacted new parole agents’ knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs about modeling appropriate behavior for people involved in the justice system, supporting their reentry into the community, and understanding the principles of effective correctional interventions.
